What CBD Dose Is Right For You?

Dosing: Drop it like it’s hot

The textbook dose of CBD is between 20-50mg or 1-2 drops per serving. This will vary from strength to strength so we recommend starting low.

We know each and every person is unique, so let us break it down for you…

If you are trying CBD for the first time, go for our Lowkey 500mg CBD & Olive Oil, place 1-2 drops under your tongue and up your dose until you feel it’s right.

Want more bang for your buck?

Instead of increasing the dose you can increase the milligrams. Meaning you can grab one of our stronger CBD & Olive Oils, Hot Shot 1000mg and So Extra 2000mg, but lower the number of drops making it last longer than your ex.

For example, 2 drops of 500mg oil would be equivalent to 1 drop of 1000mg CBD oil.

CBD Dosage suggestions

Cannabidiol (aka, CBD) is one of 104 chemical compounds known as cannabinoids, found in the hemp plant. CBD, a naturally occurring compound in hemp, is more prominent to the marijuana counterpart THC. THC the compound known to give psychoactive effects, commonly known for the recreational “high” usually found when smoking weed.

Recent Studies and further education for the use of CBD is proving to support a variety of health boosting properties and is very quickly becoming an essential natural Health and Wellness product.

But first things first, full disclaimer: All our CBD products are sold as a dietary food supplement, we do not make any medical claims for the use of CBD.

When looking for the best CBD dosage for you, consider the following factors:

Concentration

Concentration, or strength, refers to the total amount of CBD in a given product. Concentration is measured in milligrams (mg). This is different from dosage, which indicates the amount of CBD per serving. Eg, a 10ml bottle of CBD tincture has a concentration of 1000mg of tincture. There are roughly 200 drops per 10ml bottle therefore each drop is approximately 5 mg of CBD;

Doses can be variable for different users, choose your own adventure.

Desired effects

For many, the optimal dose comes down to the level of pain or discomfort they are experiencing. Someone with chronic pain or severe anxiety may need a higher dose to alleviate their symptoms whereas a person with a milder condition may prefer a lower dose with less pronounced effects.

Tolerance

CBD consumers may develop a tolerance over time, which can result in reduced effects from the same dosage. Higher subsequent doses may be needed to achieve the desired results. Best to monitor as you go, we find recording moods in a diary helps us.

Which binding oil and why

Concentrated CBD oil are typically mixed in with food or applied sublingually (beneath your tongue). In Delic’s case, we’ve chosen Olive Oil for all it’s PMS remedy good-ness.

Our Oils come in 15-mL bottles and our products vary in terms of concentration, ranging from 500 mg to 2000 mg.

If you are trying CBD for the first time, go for our Lowkey 500mg CBD & Olive Oil, place 1-2 drops under your tongue (min 60 seconds for the best results) and up your dose until you feel it’s right.

It’s important to note that oils do not take effect as quickly as other CBD products (like vape oils) and consumers may not experience the sensations right away; however, the effects can last for up to three or four hours.
